Title: The Saints of Atlantis
Fandoms: Stargate Atlantis and The Boondock Saints
Disclaimer: I own nothing of either SGA or Boondock Saints
Rating: R
A/N: This is a gen story, however do be aware that Murphy and Conner share a wife back in Ireland. This is an AU, there are a lot of things being left out (Ori, Replicators, etc) and I'm mixing and matching what I want to add.
2. Meeting the Saints by dragonfan [Reviews - 0] (2016 words)
Knowing the Boondock Saints storyline is generally helpful and I recommend both movies. For those with no knowledge I offer the following:

1. Conner and Murphy's father was a hit man known as Il Duce and spent 24 years in prison. His release was arranged by a mob boss out to get the Saints, but instead of taking the boys out he joined them instead. The boys were three years old at the time Il Duce was arrested.

2. Annabelle McManus has never told her sons which twin was the elder. In 35 years the only thing she has said was 'it was the one with the bigger cock!' Annabelle is a hard drinking, hard swearing, hard hitting, loving and devoted Catholic mother. She is well aware of her husband and sons' hobby of killing mobsters and other criminals.

3. Conner and Murphy believe that they were called by God to 'Destroy all that which is evil, so that good may flourish'.
3. The Deadalus by dragonfan [Reviews - 0] (2098 words)
A/N: Detectives Dolly, Greenly and Duffy are South Boston police detectives who are not only friends of Conner and Murphy's, but they are also hands on accessories to two of the twin's hits.

Panza was an Italian immigrant who was the shooter for the assassination of the priest which brought the boys out of hiding.
4. Notifications by dragonfan [Reviews - 0] (2069 words)
A/N: the first portion of this chapter draws heavily upon a scene from All Saint's Day - the investigation by FBI Special Agent Eunice Bloom of the crime scene/death of the head members of the Yakavetta family at the Prudential Hotel and what happened to Eunice after.
5. The Hit by dragonfan [Reviews - 0] (2209 words)
A/N: Here comes the McManus family prayer. It is passed down from father to son. Noah taught it to the boys before he was sent to prison. Annabelle encouraged them to recite the prayer so that they would remember it. The prayer is both a reflection of their commitment to God and a prayer for the dead. The boys recite this prayer when they execute the man who is the focus of their hit.
6. Welcome to Pegasus by dragonfan [Reviews - 0] (1867 words)
Conner and Murphy are fluent in nine languages
Latin
Gaelic
English
Russian
German
Italian
French
Spanish
and now Ancient
7. Atlantis' surprise by dragonfan [Reviews - 0] (2101 words)
Those people who are ATA positive among the population of Atlantis refer to Atlantis as she or her and talk as though she was an intelligence in her own right. Non-ATA's do not share this unique view-point. No one has discovered any information that would prove one or the other correct on the subject.
8. Exploring the chapel by dragonfan [Reviews - 0] (2048 words)
Here we discover the boys connection to Atlantis, and some family history, in the historical sense anyway.
9. Lady Trouble by dragonfan [Reviews - 0] (2131 words)
From what I've seen and read Teyla's unique genetics are not common knowledge. I've changed that here.

The tech used in Stargate SG1 is primarily Ancient in origin - ie, the gates, the staff weapons, zats, the hand devices, etc. Because of that, I find it very odd that there would not be any of those in Atlantis. Thus my addition of zats to the boys family weapons collection.
10. Meetings and news for the boys by dragonfan [Reviews - 0] (2572 words)
Here's the reason why Elizabeth was angry with the twins, and a very polite argument between her and John.

Gretchen has some news for the boys. Jacob does too - excessive cuteness alert!
11. Let's Party by dragonfan [Reviews - 0] (1997 words)
Here's where I explain a little bit of Gretchen McManus' background and how she ended up with the twins. Be warned - its not nice. Some people may object to how I portrayed Gretchen and her reactions, but as an abuse survivor, I know this is possible.
12. The Jumper Bay by dragonfan [Reviews - 0] (2077 words)
This takes place during the episode Grace Under Pressure.

I know that Teyla's genetic history is a secret in cannon. I've changed that here.

To answer the obvious question with a question, why would any of the male members of the recon teams tell their female leader that they traded their seed for extras? No one from the planets in question would mention it to Elizabeth because she would not be able to answer for the men.

Caldwell is of course, referring to those who are strong ATA's, although most people who live there do become Lantian, falling in love with the city and the people of Pegasus.

Troy Duffy has said that certain scenes in the movies were deliberately planned to show that the brothers were twins, all of which were actions he had the actors do at the same time; drinking from cups with the same hand, reaching for cigarettes and lighters, repeating the same line in unison.
14. A problem down in the lab by dragonfan [Reviews - 0] (2086 words)
There has to be things left around the living quarters that the Ancients left behind. I'm just saying.

Yes, Conner has a fascination with rope. Murphy has one with knives.
15. An offworld trip? by dragonfan [Reviews - 0] (2220 words)
The mandates that are quoted are in two parts; the first is from the Boondock Saints, the second is my interpretation of how they would have been before 10,000 years worth of changes.

I am not bashing Elizabeth. Any woman can be bitchy when she's pushed and frustrated. She will eventually come around and is already starting.

Nevan Loaghaire is Irish for Holy Shepherd.
16. Bad Feeling by dragonfan [Reviews - 0] (2169 words)
Spanish is a common second language. All of the Marines on this mission speak it. The only ones who don't are Radek and Carson. Radek speaks Czech, Russian and English. Carson speaks Gaelic, English and Latin. Both can read a little Ancient, but rely primarily on the translators on Atlantis.

There are spoilers here for the first Boondock Saints.

18. The Rescue by dragonfan [Reviews - 0] (2130 words)
Atlantis checks in with the SGC once a week, which allows email communication for personal use. The boys sent one to Gretchen and she ok'd the 'donation' for a few lucky Athosian ladies.
19. Understanding by dragonfan [Reviews - 0] (2057 words)
Serving a shift out on the mainland means working in the fields or other hard labor for the Athosians.
20. Why didn't I think of this before? by dragonfan [Reviews - 0] (1923 words)
A/N: This takes place immediately after The Long Goodbye; some five months after the Saints leave Earth for Atlantis. That means that Atlantis has been occupied for just over two years now. That episode took place exactly as in cannon. Neither the twins, nor Father Nevan were in Atlantis at the time.

This is the Micheal from the Human/Wraith hybrid arc. I didn't like that story line, so this is what it has been changed to. It has been pointed out to me that Micheal was the first Wraith that John named, but I'm going with a backstory of John being a smart ass and calling various Wraith names while in battle.
